Can You Erase Dvdr to Use Again

   Howdy, I was simply wondering if anyone knew of a way to bare or erase the data that my dvd-r has on information technology so I tin can use it again to burn a game?
   I tried called-for a game on it but afterwards 25% an error ocurred and the whole thing stoped and left me with a useless dvd-r
   I have already wasted a lot of money ownership cd's because i just deceit get the game to burn down correctly just that isnt important mright now
   All I desire to know if anyone knows a fashion to erase or blank a dvd-r not dvd-rw

   ps. delight dont write a response just maxim 'no you lot deceit'!
   I know I deceit but MAYBE someone knows how and I could get lucky and they are generous enough to share their knoledge with me and I wont have to keep on buying new dvd's again and again

   pitiful you can't as they are not made to exercise that as merely rw disks such every bit cdrw & dvdrw can be either reformated or info deleted. become some rw disks til you find out why y'all are having that error.

   have you lot checked the wii forum nearly that every bit i don't accept a wii or any game system?

   Endeavour burning at a lower speed such equally 4x or even 2x

   The best media (IMO) is Verbatim datalife plus to burn with. I also use Imgburn to fire my Wii games.

   I utilise imgburn likewise. I take tryed burning at 4x, 2x, and even 1x but withal deceit get the game to burn correctly.
   I've already spet well over $twenty in just blanck dvd's

   Use DVD-R media instead as they are proven to be the nigh uniform ones for Wii backups. Otherwise, y'all volition continually receive DVD read errors.

   You say they don't burn properly. What do you lot mean by that? Do they complete burning but exercise not load in the Wii or do they not complete burning at all?

   Do you accept your system softmoded or hardmoded?

   Do you have a newer system?

    Im having the same effect with my Staples DVDS. But my friend and I are using them only his work on his Wii and mine just my burns dont work at all. I get error 1101.

    Did y'all go any backup to work on your ii? Either 1 of yours or i of your friends backup work on your Wii?

    If not so you may have ane of the newer drives that do non play fill-in games. If this is the case y'all will need to use a USB loader instead.

    Yup. His burns work on both of our Wii's and my burns don't work. I doubt I have the antibackup drive since his piece of work and all simply i have no clue whats the issue. My Laptop isn't aboriginal either so im stumped.
